We offer Intruder Alarm system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance services to businesses across the UK from our base in the south east.
We’ve installed hundreds of security systems in homes around the UK, commercial properties and retail to provide the best intruder alarms and security systems available.
We can design and install home security systems with a huge range of options and the best modern technology. Many of our systems are available wirelessly, which makes installation quick and unintrusive – and we offer constant round-the-clock alarm monitoring, and even alert the police if something triggers your alarm.
All our intruder alarm security systems meet the highest industry standards, and we couple that with great customer service and ongoing support.
We are a member of NSI NACOSS silver accreditation scheme. We continually updated our technology and know-how, so you know you’re getting the best possible home security.
Our trained installers are quick and tidy, and we aim to keep things as neat as possible, even in difficult areas. Once installed, we offer a range of monitoring options. Our engineers will provide on-going support if you ever need it (which is rare, as our systems are simple to use).
We can connect your system directly into our remote servicing software via a WIFI/GPRS signal. This lets us monitor your system and do a quarterly health-check. It also means we can alert nominated keyholders and the police if your alarm goes off.
Our support and monitoring services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so you get a robust, reliable Intruder Alarm system, and peace of mind that your property is being well looked after.

Emytec install many different types of systems for our customers, our experienced surveyors will visit your property and design an appropriate system to suit your needs and requirements, including wire free systems, hard wired systems, text alert systems, speech dialling systems and the more popular higher security off site monitored systems that in most provide police response. Moving with technology many customers now are requesting App controlled systems, these are great, although we only recommend these for domestic applications for low to medium risk properties as they don’t currently support police response.
For medium to high risk properties we recommend police response monitored systems with dual path monitoring. Emytec install three main monitoring solutions, phone line, mobile network and internet, more information about these solutions can be found in our monitoring section.
Emytec Intruder alarm systems can protect your business and property in many ways. In order for an alarm to receive Police Response, the system must comply to the relevant standard. Should the system comply to the relevant standard, the alarm company can then apply for a Unique Reference Number (URN) to be issued on the system. The current standard for Police Response Systems in the UK BS8243:2010, this standard has various options for setting and un-setting the alarm. The most common method for setting and unsetting a Police Response Monitored Alarm System is via a digital key (proximity fob).
